ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Jocelyn Lysne and I am a fourth-year Interior Design student at NDSU. I was born and raised in Williston, North Dakota where I participated in various sports and school clubs. I love to travel, spend time with family and friends at the lake, and enjoy playing cards.
Prior to transferring to NDSU, I attended MSUM and obtained a minor in Construction Management. I also played club tennis there and met amazing people and friends from various universities. This summer I had the opportunity to intern at ICON Architectural Group in Fargo, North Dakota where I met some great co-workers and learned more than I could have expected.
Through interior design, I want to design spaces that go beyond aesthetics and functionality to create spaces that truly mean something to people. I am determined to bring clients excitement and provide fully supportive environments that encourage conversation, spark interest, and are accessible for all occupants. I am especially interested in the technical aspects of the project, including creating construction documents and three-dimensional models to ensure that the layout of the project will be fully functional, in accordance to code, and fits the needs of the client. I am looking forward to utilizing my Interior Design and Construction Management education to work with clients and create spaces that exceed all expectations.
MISSION
My goal is to go beyond aesthetics and functionality to create spaces that truly mean something to people. I am determined to bring clients excitement and provide fully supportive environments that encourage conversation, spark interest, and are accessible for all occupants.
